Regional Economic Development Manager
The Wide Bay Burnett Regional Organisation of Councils is looking for a special individual to drive the implementation of its recently endorsed new Regional Economic Development Strategy 2019-2024.
The Wide Bay Burnett region has a population of 300,000 and borders the Darling Downs, Central Queensland and the Noosa/Sunshine Coast regions.
The Regional Economic Development Manager position is an exciting new role where the right person can “pave the way” and make a great mark in the region.
Key responsibilities include:
• Facilitate the implementation of WBBROC’s Regional Economic Development Strategy
• Develop and enhance partnerships with local governments, state government agencies, business organisations and non-government organisations
This role is subject to an annual performance review and meeting KPIs related to the role. The role will attract a salary package of $140K.
