Polynesian Family Feast Fundraiser
Where: Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre
What: Help raise funds for Tongan families affected by Tropical Cyclone Gita with this night of feasting and dancing. Polynesian dancers and DJ Jerry Brown will present through the night.
Cost: $40 per person, $20 for children
When: Gates open 10am, burnouts start 1pm
Where: Maryborough Speedway
What: Watch that rubber fly as racers from all over the region put on a burnouts display at the region's premier speedway. Classes include six cylinder, eight cylinder, opens and ladies.
Cost: Adults $20, pensioners and students $15, children under 12 free, families (two adults and two students) $55
SSAA Fraser Coast Ladies Day
Where: Shooting Range, Churchill Mine Rd, Wallibum
What: A day on the shooting range for women on the Fraser Coast, this event is designed for women aged 11 years and older. Bring ID, covered shoes and hearing protection. Barbecue lunch included.
Cost: $5 per person
Urangan Pier Markets
Where: Pier Park, Urangan
What: Pier Park community markets run every Saturday, with plenty of food, drink and entertainment on offer.
Independent Riders Australia Show and Shine
When: Registration 7.30am-11.30am, winners announced 12.30pm
Where: Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary
What: The annual Motors in May show and shine event is back. Help choose the best cars and bikes in a range of categories, ranging from Fords to Hot Rods.
Cost: Gold coin entry, registration $5
Colour Stampede 2018
Where: Susan River Homestead
What: Join others in a celebration of colour, good vibes and music at Susan River, raising money for Forget Me Not Australia.
Cost: $45 for general admission at the gate
Z-PAC Country, Rock and Blues Club
Where: Zephyr St Theatre
What: Music starts at 6pm and continues until 10pm. Come for the whole evening or just drop in for a drink at the licensed bar.
