Barbie is no longer just tall, blonde and skinny
FOR five decades Barbie dolls have been tall, blonde and inhumanly skinny, but toymaker Mattel has announced the dolls will soon come in tall, petite and curvy sizes and in a number of skin tones.
Mattel's Barbie-brand global general manager, Evelyn Mazzocco, said Barbie was changing for the modern world.
"We are excited to literally be changing the face of the brand - these new dolls represent a line that is more reflective of the world girls see around them," she said.
