Almost 900 votes show overwhelming support for marijuana
AN ONLINE poll has revealed massive support for decriminalising marijuana for both medicinal and recreational purposes.
The poll ran on the Chronicle website for three days and attracted 896 votes.
A whopping 84% of participants thought the drug should be legal for both medicinal and recreational, and a further 8% thought it should be allowed for medicinal purposes only.
This meant well over 90% were in favour of some form of decriminalisation.
Only 7% wanted the drug to remain completely illegal.
