New branch of Aussie Helpers fundraising for farmers
MARYBOROUGH'S Kasey Hudson has set up a Fraser Coast branch of Aussie Helpers to fundraise for farmers struggling through the drought.
"My family were sheep farmers in Victoria," she said.
"I know what a drought looks and feels like.
"It wasn't long ago since a farmer shot all his cattle and then himself."
Kasey is currently looking for donations for a fundraising garage sale to be held on March 8.
