Bombers go for seventh straight win

AUSSIE RULES: Hervey Bay Bombers can maintain pressure on AFL Wide Bay leaders Bay Power if it secures a seventh straight win Saturday.

All three Fraser Coast teams will hit the road for round 15.

The Bombers and Power travel to Bundaberg to face The Waves and Brothers Bulldogs respectively, while Maryborough Bears will take on Gympie at Pomona.

The Bombers beat the Power by 27 points last week, its second win against the club in three games this year.

The Waves smashed the Bears by 260 points last week, though the fourth-placed club lost three of its previous games. A win against the Bombers can secure the Eagles' finals berth.

Brothers Bulldogs is searching for its first win since May 25. The club has lost five straight, the only positive result being when the Bears forfeited in round 12.
