Boy airlifted off island after falling off rocks at wedding
AN EIGHT-year-old boy was airlifted from Fraser Island after falling from some rocks and suffering lower leg injuries on Wednesday.
The boy was attending his mother's wedding on the island when he was knocked over in the Champagne Pools area.
He was airlifted by the Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to Hervey Bay Hospital for further treatment.
He travelled in a stable condition and was accompanied by his mother.
