Buccaneers call for junior players

FOOTBALL Queensland Wide Bay has called for more young players to register an expression of interest for the club's skills and acquisition program.

The program, run by new Premier League club, Wide Bay Buccaneers, is aimed at players aged from nine to 12, and will aid identification of future Wide Bay players.

"It's developing them now so we can recognised kids who can be in our program," FQ WB general manager Peter Guest said. "If we don't, a lot of the kids won't have the skills they need to play QPL or NPL football."
