Bullets back on top after six-point win

BULLETS: A second half surge sent Bay Bullets Netball Club back to the top as an era ended for Hervey Bay Netball.

Bullets Boscia beat Breakaways Titans 41-35 in Saturday's Division 1 grand final, quite possibly the last HBNA game to be played at the PCYC court.

One goal separated the sides at half-time, before Bullets pulled away in the last term.

Coach Kerrianne Farrelly cut a relieved but excited figure on the sideline as her side claimed Bullets' first Division 1 title since 2016.

"To win two grand finals is awesome (her juniors won earlier in the day) but these girls have been fantastic," she said.

"I think using my fresh legs at the right time.

"Having Tamara (Anderson) come on and help with the flow through to the shooters, the feeding aspect came through when Tamara came on, and having those fresh legs come on for the defensive end changed it."
