Busy hinterland road closed after rail bridge damaged
A busy Nambour street has been closed to traffic after a two-vehicle crash reportedly damaged a rail bridge on Monday.
Police have closed the road, which connects with Currie St and Perwillowen Rd, until 2.30pm.
A police spokesman said the crash did not appear to be serious, but crews needed to repair the rail bridge before the road could be reopened.
Diversions are in place.
Paramedics have not been called to the scene.
More to come.
