Clear skies of Easter break make way for rain
THE relatively clear skies the Fraser Coast saw over the long weekend have given way to predicted showers for the rest of the week.
Maryborough saw about 16mm of rain fall to 9am on Tuesday, while Hervey Bay had 7mm.
Both cities are expected to have a few showers on Tuesday, with a high of up to 28 expected.
Isolated thunderstorms are also possible.
Anyone still enjoying the outdoors will still need to slap on the sunscreen, with the UV index predicted to reach a very high reading of 9.
