COAST CRIME: 10 suburbs hit on the Fraser Coast

1. URANGAN

Stealing - Urangan Beach

Between 12pm on November 29 and 7am on November 31, offenders have stolen a black kayak which was left secured at the offence location.

Stealing - Buccaneer Dr

About 10pm on November 29, offenders have entered a secure yard and stolen a number of fire extinguishers from the business location

Break and Enter - Cypress St

About 9.30pm on December 3, offenders have gained entry to the residence through an unlocked door. The offenders have stolen computer equipment, a sum of cash and a wallet. The victim was home at the time of the offence.

Steal from vehicle - Aimee Dr

Between 11pm on December 3 and 2am on December 4, offenders have gained entry to a vehicle parked at the address and stolen a sum of cash.

Stealing - Urangan Beach

Between 10.30am and 11am on December 5, offenders have located an unattended wallet on the beach. The offender has stolen a sum of cash and left the offence location.

2. PIALBA

Stealing - Boat Harbour Dr

At about 4.20pm on November 30, offenders have stolen a carry bag from the offence location. Victim has left the carry bag unattended for a short time. The offenders have also stolen a wallet, a sum of cash, personal papers, bank card and a mobile phone.

3. URRAWEEN

Break and Enter - Mawson Ct

Between 8.30pm on November 30 and 7am on December 1, offenders have entered the residence through an unlocked window. No property has been removed or damaged on this occasion.

Steal from vehicle - Central Ave

Between 1pm and 6pm on December 2, offenders have removed the front and rear number plates from a vehicle parked in the car park of the offence location.

Steal from vehicle - Central Ave

Between 2.45pm and 6pm on December 4, offenders have attempted to gain entry to a vehicle parked at the car park of the offence location. No property has been reported stolen.

4. MARYBOROUGH

Break and Enter - Kent St

Between November 10 and November 30, offenders have entered the residence through an unlocked laundry door and stolen a Yamaha motorcycle and a quantity of fishing gear from the garage area.

Break and Enter - Enterprise Street

Between 4pm on December 1 and 6.30am on December 2, offenders have forced open a shed roller door and stolen a mobile phone.

Stolen vehicle - Ann St

Between 6.30pm on December 2 and 7.20am on December 3, offenders have gained entry to an unlocked vehicle. Offenders have located the key inside the vehicle allowing the offender to drive off from the location.

5. CRAIGNISH

Break and Enter - Karraschs Rd

About midnight on December 2, offenders have entered the business by smashing a sliding door. No property was stolen at the time of the offence.

Torbanlea

Break and Enter - Robertson St

Between 12.40am and 12.50am on December 2, offenders have gained entry to the business by smashing a door. A quantity of tobacco and sum of cash were stolen at the time of the offence.

6. ELI WATERS

Steal from vehicle - Lady Penrhyn Dr

Between 7pm on December 1 and 6am on December 2, offenders have stolen front and rear number plates from a vehicle while parked on the footpath at the offence location.

7. TORQUAY

Stolen vehicle - Charlton Esplanade

Between 5.30pm on December 1 and 5am on December 2, offenders have gained entry to an unlocked vehicle. The offenders have located the vehicle keys inside the vehicle allowing the offender to drive away.

Stealing - Torquay Beach

Between 2.45pm and 3.15pm on December 4, offenders have located a number of bags sitting unattended on the beach.

Offenders have stolen a mobile phone and sum of cash from the victim's bags.

Break and enter - Torquay Tce

Between 11am on October 13 and 9am on December 2, offenders have gained entry to the vacant property and caused damage in the bathroom area.

8. KAWUNGAN

Steal from vehicle - Oleander Ave

Between 7.10am and 10.10am on December 5, offenders have entered an unlocked vehicle parked at the offence location.

The offenders have stolen the key from the ignition and a sum of cash prior to leaving.

9. POINT VERNON

Stolen vehicle - Flinders St

Between 11am and 11.45am on December 6, offenders have stolen a motorcycle from a driveway.

10. SCARNESS

Steal from vehicle - Wuruma St

Between 8pm on December 5 and 6am on December 6, offenders have gained entry to a vehicle which was locked and secured.

Offenders have stolen a wallet, sum of cash, and bank cards and an electronic cigarette.
