Coast kids should mail Santa soon for a reply

FRASER Coast children are being encouraged to post their letters to Santa nice and early to ensure the jolly man in the big red suit has time to reply before he packs up his sleigh and comes to town.

More than 100,000 letters from young Australians were sent to the North Pole last year.

Has your child written a letter to Santa? Email amy.formosa@frasercoastchronicle.com.au with their wish list and we'll create a list of the best.

With just over a month to go until Christmas, Australia Post is again preparing to deliver thousands of letters to Santa expected from Aussie kids this year.

To ensure Santa reads and responds to your letter, simply put your wish lists in the post addressed to Santa, North Pole, 9999.

Be sure to clearly write your full name and address, along with a stamped envelope so Santa knows where to send his reply.

Letters mailed before Christmas will receive a response.

Australia Post's Christine Corbett said writing a letter to Santa is easy and fun.

Santa Mail letters can be placed in any Australia Post red post box or in-store at selected post offices.
