Contagious smile is sure to melt your heart
THE Maryborough and District Animal Refuge has dozens of pets available for adoption.
All animals are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, registered (except cats) and up-to-date with flea and worm treatment.
The refuge is always looking for donations of food, finances and/or sponsorship.
There are boarding facilities for cats and dogs at affordable rates.
This week there is domestic short hair, four-month-old Tornado.
In complete contrast to his name, Tornado is a sweet and inquisitive boy.
He gets along well with our other cats and likes to observe and inspect all the goings on in the cattery.
If you are looking for a beautifully soft furry friend to greet you at the door and make you smile after a long day, come and meet our boy.
His adoption fee was $180.
One-year-old Kelpie cross Ryka, with his dashingly good looks and a contagious smile is sure to melt your heart.
When Ryka came to the refuge, he was very shy but With staff encouragement, he has come along in leaps and bounds and now looks forward to his daily visitors.
Ryka does have very mild hip dysplasia, although it isn't worrying him currently.
His new owners will have to be aware that as he gets older, he will need extra supplements in his feed to keep him feeling in tip top condition.
Ryka would be best suited to a home with no young children and a family who is willing to help him continue to build up his confidence.
His adoption fee was $315.
