ARMED with a wealth of cultural knowledge from over 40 different countries, Katie Mossman is hoping to take Fraser Coast children on a world adventure today, Thursday, February 5.
The managing director of ZClub Dance Fitness is set to host a free, 45-minute, Zumba open day for children aged five-12.
Ms Mossman's work as a former flight attendant and having worked and studied in Asia, USA, Mexico, South America, the Middle East and Africa, has given the mother-of-two the opportunity to learn music and dance from various different cultures.
She has also just recently started teaching dance at local schools and kindergartens.
"This is the first time I can create my vision of ZClub Kidz uniting as a dance fitness crew, sharing cultural experiences, rhythms from across the globe, languages and crazy adventure," Ms Mossman said.
"It's not just music and dance; my vision is to get the whole cultural aspect out there."
She said the interactive event would suit any children who just love to dance, with plenty of fun and games to take part in.
"Moves are broken down and age specific, so kids can grow in confidence.
"We're just making it fun with very simplified movements ... the music is really catchy, with different rhythms and beats.
"They will learn basic dance in a fun way."
Free kids' Zumba shirts will be handed out to the "grooviest little dancers"
