DJ Kronic to take over Criterion Hotel on Friday night

DJ KRONIC will rock Maryborough's Criterion Hotel tomorrow night.

The hotel's resident DJ, Brendan Heit, said it was incredibly exciting to have the world-renowned Australian DJ performing in the Heritage City.

"It's going to be a big night," Heit said.

Heit said the DJ's performance was "very energetic".

"He is very talented and recognisable - he rules the dance floor," he said.

Heit said DJ Kronic had been making waves on the music scene for the best part of six years and the people of the Fraser Coast were very lucky to have the chance to see him perform at one of their hotels.

"We are lucky - it's a pretty big deal," Heit said.

Heit said the hotel had brought in a bigger sound system for the occasion.

"The place is going to pump," he said.

Doors will open at the Criterion Hotel from 10pm, with DJ Kronic performing from 12am to 3am.

There will be a 1am curfew on the night and entry will cost $10.
