Domino's Hervey Bay and M'boro reopen after gas refit
PIZZA maker Domino's is once again open for business after recent flooding and wild weather in the area forced the store to close for more than a week.
The gas pipeline leak meant the stores were unable to operate since Wednesday, January 30, but local operators have since been able to ship in bottled gas and retrofit ovens in order to reopen on Monday.
Domino's Wide Bay franchise consultant Sam Tully said the stores were disappointed to have been forced to close and appreciated their customers' patience.
"We tried to stay open for as long as we could, but with no gas, there was nothing we could do," Sam said.
"Our customers have been very patient during this time and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their patience.
"We hope to see a few familiar faces in store over the coming weekend as we get back to business as usual."
