Energetic pups and kitties need a home

THE Maryborough and District Animal Refuge has dozens of pets available for adoption.

All animals are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, registered (except cats) and up-to-date with flea and worm treatment.

The refuge is always looking for donations of food, finances and/or sponsorship.

There are boarding facilities for cats and dogs at affordable rates.

This week there is Java and Quake.

Quake is a handsome domestic short hair and is one of the last two of his litter mates still waiting to be adopted.

At four months old, Quake is shaping up to be a large cat and a big lazy bones.

He will most often be found lazing in one of the cat towers in the cattery, waiting for someone to come and dote on him.

Quake is desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and up to date with worming and can be taken home for $180.

If you give Java a ball, especially a squeaky one, you will have made a friend for life.

Java is a two-and-a-half- year-old Cattle Dog cross.

She is cute and energetic and has a passion for chasing the ball.

If you give Java a ball, especially a squeaky one, you will have made a friend for life.

We believe Java would be best suited to a home with older family members due to her focus and excitement when a ball is around.

Naturally, her love of playing fetch will allow you to burn off her energy easily and keep her fit.

Java has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with worming which is all included in her adoption fee along with council registration.

You can take her home for just $315.
