Ever felt the urge to get arty?

A BIT of bubble wrap, some old towels, water, soap and wool are all you need for felting.

Hervey Bay Spinners, Weavers and Dyers club member Isobel Harvey said felting is so easy, anyone can do it.

"You don't need to have any skills beforehand and it's not an expensive hobby to start," Mrs Harvey said.

"I can felt a hat in three days and a dress takes me a week and a half."

Mrs Harvey and 16 members from the Hervey Bay's Spinners, Weavers and Dyers club are currently exhibiting their work at the Hervey Bay Regional Gallery.

The exhibition's official opening night will be held on July 4.
