Six Fraser Coast hockey players picked in state squads
THE FRASER Coast has reinforced its position as one of Queensland's top producers of hockey talent.
Hockey Queensland announced its under-15s squads for the Australian boys' and girls' championships earlier this week. The national titles will be held from April 5-13.
Maryborough's Diarmid Chappell and Ryley Kroning were picked for Queensland's U15 Boy's #1 Team, with Hervey Bay pair Jayden Douma and Garrett Moore placed in the #2 team.
Hannah Callum-Sanders and Millie Mushan were selected in the Queensland U15 Girl's #2 team.
The announcement comes after a three-day trial held in Brisbane last weekend where temperatures climbed to over 40 degrees.
