Harry Kewell is a big fan of the Fraser Coast

FORMER international football star Harry Kewell is enjoying his time on the Fraser Coast in his second visit since September.

Kewell hosted his highly-successful Harry Kewell Academy at the Hervey Bay High School yesterday after rain forced a venue change from fields on Tavistock St.

But earlier in the week, Kewell spent a sunny day on Fraser Island with ex-Wallaby rugby union player Chris Latham. And there was no shortage of activities for the superstars to do on the world heritage-listed island.

"Kayaking in freshwaters, four-wheel driving - a helicopter ride," Kewell said.

He hopes to return to the Fraser Coast with his family.

Kewell will hold his second and final Jeep football clinic in Hervey Bay today.
