GALLERY: Granville wallops Wallaroos A Grade women

Hockey: Granville's A-grade women's side was too strong for Wallaroos rivals last weekend.

The side scored two unanswered goals in the face-off at Maryborough District Hockey Association grounds on Saturday afternoon.

In other news, Brothers defeated United 3-nil while Tinana beat Magpies 4-1 in the Fraser Coast A-grade women's competition.

The Granville Tigers beat the Hervey Bay Brothers 5-1 in the Fraser Coast A-grade men's hockey league at the weekend.  

The Magpies were felled by the BroRoos 2-1.  

In men's division two, BroRoos defeated Colts 6-1 and Granville had a bye at Maryborough and District Hockey Association on Friday night.  

United scored three unanswered goals against Tinana in women's division two and Wallaroos put one into the net against Granville while the Colts had a bye last Friday.
