HBNA GF: Bullets rested and ready to go
BULLETS: Kerrianne Farrelly's young Division1 side will be rested and raring to go when the timekeeper's clock starts this afternoon.
Bullets Boscia finished second on the table, but a three-point semi-final win against Breakaways earned the young side a week's break to prepare for the decider.
Whether that week off is advantageous is debatable. Some prefer to rest injured players and reduce the risk of elimination, while other coaches prefer to keep the momentum rolling. For Farrelly, it was the former.
"We haven't had a good run this year in terms of injuries so we needed that break,” Farrelly said. "The only thing I would've done differently is separate the Division 1 and 2 teams rather than keep them together.
"Having that time off is good for health.”
Farrelly said her side would be ready to tangle with the club's closest rivals.
"It's always physical against Breakaways and I think this will be a game of skill,” she said. "There will be some great physical and skilful netball, particularly in our juniors, and it will be a great day. I just want the girls to enjoy it.”
