High-profile police officer’s wife cleared of fraud
THE fraud charges against the wife of a highly respected senior Brisbane police officer have been dismissed.
Joanne Robyn Noller was accused of two counts of allegedly defrauding Sunshine Coast businessman, David Bruckner of Dr Superfoods.
Mrs Noller is the wife of Geoff Noller, the officer-in-charge of Springfield station.
The case was heard in the Holland Park Magistrate's Court on January 22.
A court spokesman confirmed the charges were dismissed.
THE wife of a highly respected senior Brisbane police officer has been charged on two counts of allegedly defrauding the Sunshine Coast man who brought a smile to Gwyneth Paltrow's lips.
Joanne Robyn Noller, 48, will appear in the Holland Park Magistrates Court on May 18.
Her husband, Geoff Noller, is the officer-in-charge of the Springfield police station and has been involved in numerous high-profile police cases.
David Bruckner, owner and founder of Naturally Goji Pty Ltd and Dr Superfoods, was relieved the four-year police investigation into how $200,000 disappeared from his bank account, nearly bankrupting him, was heading to the courts.
Mr Bruckner's Kunda Park company made the chocolate-covered Goji Berries singer Chris Martin raved about during his Queensland tour in 2012.
Boxes were also sent to Martin's then wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, in New York.
Mr Brucker said Mrs Noller was the bookkeeper/ administration officer during the three-year period from January 2008 to early 2011 when the alleged fraud occurred and while the firm was based in Brisbane.
He said the disappearance of the money nearly sent his small business into bankruptcy, but since 2011, he had turned the books around to restore a "healthy profit" and was now operating.
"I am looking forward to seeing the truth prevail," Mr Bruckner said.
The Daily contacted Mrs Noller for comment and she said she would seek legal advice before commenting.

Police said "a 48-year-old Mount Ommaney woman has been charged with two counts of fraud and is due to reappear in the Holland Park Magistrates Court on May 5th".
The woman has been confirmed by the Holland Park Magistrates Court as Mrs Noller.
