Dogwood Crossing to play at Beach House Hotel
WHILE Hervey Bay-based band Dogwood Crossing might be rocking the international music scene, the members still find time to entertain fans at home.
The band, made up of lead singer Tim Earle, Damien Veness on guitar, Richard Butler on lead guitar, drummer Jason McNabb and Chris Shevelling on bass, are set to play at the Beach House Hotel on Friday, February 6, at 7.30pm.
In 2011, the band released its debut album Fear of Change independently through MGM/Green and Waterfront Records.
This quickly received praise here in Australia and overseas, with the video clip for their hit single Borderline doing the rounds on Rage and other Australian and US music shows.
With a relentless gig schedule and a strong following, the guys decided to get cracking on a second album.
In May last year, three of the band's songs landed in the Triple J Unearthed song chart Top 10.
