Kewell touches down on Fraser Coast ready to begin clinics

FOOTBALL superstar Harry Kewell has soaked up some Fraser Coast sun before getting down to business today.

The international football professional visited Fraser Island earlier in the week with fellow international sportsman Chris Latham.

"I would recommend a visit or tour of Fraser Island, a truly incredible part of Australia," Kewell said.

"Next time, I hope to bring my family," he said.

And for children wanting to spent time with Kewell, there are still about 20 spots left in his master classes at Hervey Bay Sports Club today and tomorrow from 4pm to 7pm.

"The Harry Kewell Academy is so excited to return to the Fraser Coast region," Kewell said.

"The support of the community and excitement of the children attending the clinic made it an easy choice to return in 2015," he said.

Kewell returns to the Fraser Coast after a successful clinic here last September.

Children taking part in the clinics will learn first-hand from the Australian legend.

Places are capped for each clinic and spots are still available for the two clinics in Hervey Bay.

Parents are encouraged to register their children aged between eight and 14 at harrykewellacademy.com.
