CRICKET: livestream abandoned due to poor conditions

Rain has wrecked havoc on the girls 15 years state titles at Redlands, leading to us having to withdraw livestreaming for the day.

Two of the three fields at the Redlands Sporting Complex were unplayable due to the big wet experienced around the region earlier in the week.

This led to just two of six games scheduled for today proceeding, both on No.3 oval which has no access to power.

Our livestream had been planned for the No.1 oval, which is too wet for matches.

As a result of four of the six games being cancelled today, Queensland Cricket officials said the two matches proceeding were not competition games.

The fourth and final day of matches tomorrow remain in doubt due to the amount of rain which has fallen around the area this week.

In today's action, Central Inferno v Northern Flames scratch match, Northern Flames made 5-129 in its T20 clash.

he top scorers were Grace Abdy (42, 47 balls) and Amy Hunter (33 (35 balls).

Abdy, from a Cloncurry cattle station, stroked the ball beautifully during her innings.

The youngster boards at The Cathedral School in Townsville where she has practice facilities, but when she is back home on the station, Abdy relies on her dad or little brother for throw downs on the green grass surrounding the homestead.

The competing teams scheduled for day four action are:

Southern Blaze (Gold Coast and south east Queensland)

Western Swelter (south west and Darling Downs)

City Fever (Brisbane North)

Coastal Burners (Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay)

Central Infernos (Mackay and Rockhampton)

Northern Flames (Cairns and Townsville).

Thursday 9.30am (match may not proceed due to weather and ground conditions)

Northern Flames v Western Swelter

Central infernos v City Fever

Southern Blaze v Northern Flames
