A 22-YEAR-old man fell 3m after jumping from a balcony at Fraser Island's Kingfisher Bay Resort on Sunday.

About 7am, the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter flew to the aid of the 22-year-old Maroochydore man who suffered pelvic injuries.

A rescue chopper spokeswoman said them an had been celebrating a friend's wedding at on Saturday night, before jumping from the balcony on Sunday morning.

"He fell 3m hitting the sandy ground and rolling several times down an embankment," the spokeswoman said.

"The helicopter's intensive care flight paramedic treated the man for a suspected pelvis fracture.

"He was airlifted to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition."
