Man burns face, arms after pouring fuel onto a fire

A PACIFIC Haven man has been taken to hospital with burns to his arms and face after throwing fuel on a fire.

Paramedics were called to the property near Howard at 7.50pm on Saturday.

The 45-year-old had reportedly poured fuel onto a naked flame.

The man was assessed and taken to Hervey Bay hospital.

It was not reported how serious his burns were.
