Maryborough Mural Project on the hunt for more artists

THE Maryborough Mural Project has two new assignments in the offing - but organisers need artists to create the artworks.

The first project is planned for the space above King Kong Sales in Adelaide St and will be a homage to Maryborough's Rotarians.

The Maryborough Rotary Club donated toward the project and are now waiting for interested artists to submit designs to help celebrate 110 years of Rotary.

The closing date for submitting a design is December 18.

To find out more, call 4123 5595.

The second project, a tribute to the region's Butchulla heritage, will be painted on the side of Maryborough Library.
