Maryborough woman three times over the limit while driving
A MARYBOROUGH woman was almost three times the limit when she was breath tested by Hervey Bay police on Monday morning.
Sergeant Darryn Morris said the 26-year-old was travelling along Boat Harbour Dr, Pialba when she was stopped by officers at 3am. She blew 0.135%.
The woman was issued a notice to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court.
Across the North Coast region, more than 70 fines have been issued for drink-driving over the Easter long weekend.
Police logged almost 4000 hours enforcing the road rules across the North Coast Police Region over the four-day break.
Twenty-six people were injured in car crashes in the region, which stretches from Bundaberg to the Sunshine Coast.
