THE Fraser Coast's newest art gallery has opened on the weekend next to Peppers in Urangan.
The Ashleigh Manley Art Gallery features paintings inspired by landscapes all over the world, as well as hand made homewares and gifts.
Mr Manley, a professional artist of more than 30 years, said there was a "really great atmosphere" at the opening on Saturday night, with plenty of positive feedback.
Mr Manley and his wife Kate recently moved to Hervey Bay and are "just loving it".
Mr Manley said he got his inspiration for his paintings from whatever environment he was in, and visitors to the gallery would find artworks reflecting the scenery from places as diverse as Malta and Uluru.
He said he was looking forward to creating some paintings of Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
