COULD there be a car show anywhere in the word to rival Noosa's for most picturesque location?
Pebble Beach perhaps, but the Noosa Beach Classic Car Show is somewhat more accessible to both spectators and those wishing to display their much-loved cars.
The 28th annual show, held beside Noosa's Hastings St shopping strip, is on tomorrow with an expected 280 rare, exotic and valuable machines on display, with marque of the year for 2016 being Ford.
Pacific Ford will have a display of new cars to go with a large Blue Oval classic line-up, while last year's Car of the Show - a modified 1977 Ford XC GS Falcon - will return to wow the crowds once more.
Expect race cars, American muscle, hot rods, European sports and tourers and the best of Australian classics of all marques and vintage, plus a few custom and classic bikes.
Buderim's Bowden's Collection always cherry picks a rarity or two from its vaults for the show, and this year it will debut its freshly-restored 1971 Porsche 911S, formerly owned by 1969 Le Mans winner, Jackie Oliver.
Prizes, food, coffee and rockabilly band Zed 28 will all add to the entertainment.
Show-goers can catch a gold coin donation shuttle bus from Noosa Junction Bus Station (Cnr Lanyana Way and Cooyar St) to Noosa Heads Lions Park throughout the day.
