Meet State Of Origin legend Petero Civoniceva in Hervey Bay

ORIGIN legend Petero Civoniceva started his visit to the Fraser Coast with a bang, meeting young fans at the Hervey Bay Seagulls home ground Stafford Park.

The humble star signed autographs and spent time chatting with fans about his illustrious career as a professional rugby league player, which included representing Queensland and Australia.

Civoniceva has also come on board as an ambassador for the Fraser Coast regional Council's Sports Plus Project.

Today Civoniceva will visit Kawungan State School in the morning before heading to SportFirst in Hervey bay from 3.20pm to 4.15pm.

He will then meet with fans and sign autographs at Hervey Bay RSL from 4.30pm to 5.30pm to round off his visit.
