Our preps to star in Wednesday's paper

TINY feet taking their first steps into the school yard is one of the key milestone memories parents carry with them for the rest of their lives.

The first school uniform, the first school bag, the smell of leather shoes and the joys of the lunch box challenge are mixed in there too.

This year, to celebrate our current generation of school starters the Fraser Coast Chronicle will feature a 16- page My First Year pictorial feature on Wednesday.

The My First Year feature will have more than 70 adorable photos of our preps from across the region, including this one from Maryborough West State School, so it's sure to be a hit with mums, dads and grandparents.

Don't miss out.

Put Wednesday, March 23 into your diary and be sure to pick up a copy, or two, of the Fraser Coast Chronicle and keep those memories alive for the years to come.
