FRASER Coast Outriggers club has provided 27 paddlers to the Australian contingent at the Va'a World Sprint Championships on the Sunshine Coast.

The event at Lake Kawana has attracted up to 2000 competitors from 40 countries.

Golden master women's and master men's teams and 15 juniors from the club were chosen to compete in Australian elite and club outrigger canoe racing teams during qualifying.

Juniors attended training camps and are all ready to take on the world's best at the 10-day regatta.
