Pedestrian, rider killed in crashes in Arundel, Brisbane
TWO men in their 40s have been killed in separate crashes at Arundel and Brisbane City overnight.
Police said a man believed to be 40 years old had been killed after being struck by a car at Arundel.
Around 8.15pm, a car travelling east along Smith Street collided with the male pedestrian.
The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he later died.
An 18-year-old female driver and sole occupant of the car, was not physically injured during the incident.
Police are also investigating after a man died following a two vehicle crash in Brisbane City last night.
Police were advised around 11.30pm that a car and a motorcycle had collided on Ann Street.
The rider, a 47-year-old Cornubia man was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital where he later died.
A Fairfield man, the 29-year-old male driver of the car was not physically injured during the incident.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating crashes.
