Plans to demolish one of Warwick's oldest properties
BREAKING: One of Warwick's oldest buildings could soon be demolished, with an application currently before the Southern Downs Regional Council.
The old condemned building at 31 Albion St has been on the market for more than six months.
The two story brick and timber building, opposite the BP and KFC, has been declared uninhabitable and cannot be restored.
Formerly used as shop for several decades, the store has been in the hands of a local family.
An application for demolition works on the site was lodged with the council yesterday.
The 1750sqm block is being sold as residential land, but could have commercial potential.
