Sentencing in "complex" live-baiting case pushed back

TOM Noble's sentencing has been pushed back until next Tuesday.
Ipswich District Court Judge Horneman-Wren said the case was "complex".
EARLIER:
A SMALL group of protesters has turned out to Ipswich Court House this morning where racing identity Tom Noble will be sentenced today.
One protester has brought a greyhound and two placards with her.
The signs claim 'greyhound racing is socially unacceptable' and suggests there are others in the industry that may be guilty of animal cruelty crimes but weren't charged.
Police officers have also surrounded the precinct, although they have not blocked protesters from entering the court..
In February Tom Noble, 69 pleaded guilty to 15 charges of animal cruelty - the subject of the sentence to be handed down today.
He was charged after the Four Corners episode revealing the practice of live baiting in the greyhound industry aired on the ABC last year.
Noble, the owner of a Churchable property that featured in the Four Corners episode, is one of a host of racing identities who have related matters before the Ipswich court at the moment.
Noble is facing additional charges including breach of bail condition, two counts of unlawfully contravening a prohibition order and breach of duty of care to animal.
