Recovery efforts to extract vehicle continue at Inskip Pt

RECOVERY operations at Inskip Point will continue on Wednesday morning after yesterday's successful extraction of a camper trailer from the near shore landslide site.

Similar recovery operations are planned for 8am Wednesday September 30, with contractors attempting to extract the four-wheel-drive vehicle and caravan.

Erosion and collapsing trees are expected to continue for the next few weeks around the hold which opened up at Inskip Pt on Saturday, causing 300 campers and holiday makers to be evacuated.
