Roos' tough test of title credentials

LEAGUE: Fraser Coast's best performing rugby league team will be under intense scrutiny when Wallaroos host Wests Panthers on Saturday.

Wallaroos sit second on the Bundaberg Rugby League ladder, just one point behind current leaders Waves Tigers, with eight wins from 10 games.

While the home side should be reasonably confident, they will face a Panthers outfit riding high on form and with a strong run of results.

The expected absence of strike centre Shaun Collins will impact Wallaroos' attack.

Kick-off is at 4.45pm, and will be followed by Maryborough Brothers' game against fifth-placed Easts Magpies.

Hervey Bay Seagulls will take its pursuit of competition points to Bundaberg's Salter Oval when they face Past Brothers at 6.30pm.

Waves will meet third-placed Isis Devils at 4.45pm.
