Offenders may have climbed through roof to steal safe

A SAFE was stolen from a store at Stockland Hervey Bay on Thursday night.

Police were called to Street 'N' Beach on Friday after a staff member reported the safe missing.

Early reports suggested the offenders had climbed through the roof of a neighbouring store at the shopping centre in Pialba.

Investigations are continuing.
