Saving farmers with a wonderful wedding
MARYBOROUGH couple Kasey Hudson and Harley Dietz will share their love with struggling farmers.
Kasey and Harley have requested the 150 guests not to bring gifts to their wedding but contribute to their wishing well and they will donate all proceeds to the charity Drought Angels.
After hearing about the couple's generosity, Eagle Boys Maryborough offered to pitch in and cater the wedding for free through the company's Happiness Fund.
Franchisee Tina Foskett said the Eagle Boys Maryborough store was pleased to be able to support the event with funds raised directly helping people in its community.
"It is important to our business that we give back to the communities we live in and supporting this beautiful family with this act of kindness is just one small way we can contribute," she said.
