ON SHOW: Bucking bulls, cowboys and slow-mo replays at PBR
IF YOU thought there was nothing romantic about dust, sweat and bull-bucking, think again.
A kiss-camera will capture all the intimate moments at this year's Pro Bull Riding Tour, set to hit Pialba's Seafront Oval on Saturday, April 30.
Plus there will be a picnic blanket-only section close to the action for those who want to cuddle up with their loved one throughout the 2½ hour show - or maybe stretch out with the kids.
Event organiser Dianne Hallam said she encouraged everyone to get into the spirit of the night by chucking on their best cowboy or cowgirl attire.
"We want people to have a great night of entertainment, enjoy themselves and not be afraid to stay after the bull ride and have a dance," she said.
Gates will open 5pm to allow spectators to find their perfect viewing spot, with the action set to begin at 7pm.
Bring your own seating for comfort.
A 40-foot television screen will help ensure none of the action is missed - slow-motion replays of each rider's seconds or minutes will be broadcast as soon as they are bucked off.
Fairy-floss, popcorn and hot foods, along with soft drinks, water and alcoholic beverages will keep hunger and thirst at bay in the grounds, which is licensed.
Afterwards, a live rock concert from about 9.30pm until midnight, near the bar, will be performed by 2014 X-Factor finalist James Johnson, for all those who stay on to mingle with the cowboys.
Tickets are $40 adults, children $15 and family passes $95.
