BOLD celebration

ON Tuesday, February 4 from 9.30 to 11.30am BOLD will celebrate its10th anniversary and reunion at the Urangan Community Centre, Elizabeth St.

Everyone is invited to join in the celebration and recall favourite memories and meet up again with past co-ordinators, members and participants.

Mac users meeting

THE next meetings of the Hervey Bay Mac User Group are on Tuesday, February 4 from 1pm at Dan Dinna House, Torquay and in The Lakes Room, Hervey Bay RSL on Thursday, February 6 at 7pm.

Square dance classes

NEW Square Dance classes are at Dan Dinna House, 459 Boat Harbour Dve, Torquay on Saturday, February 1 from 9.30 to 11.30am.

Cost $3.00, singles and couples are welcome.

FRASER Coast View Club's first meeting for the year is on Thursday, February 6 at the Hervey Bay Golf Club rooms in Pialba at 11am.

Scribes get-together

PUBLISHERS are fickle and selective today and with the internet, everyone wants to be a writer.

Understanding the 'do's and don'ts' can give you the edge in such a competitive environment. HBCA Scribes meet at the RSL the first Wednesday of the month at 1pm, poetry group meets the third Wednesday.

Meetings include interactive sessions, writing tips, prompts and feedback with the focus on improving your skills.

Meeting for blind and vision impaired

BLIND & Vision Impaired Group will start at Tavistock Court Hall (Entrance 4 Torbay) Tavistock St Torquay at 9.30am on Friday, February 14 for their AGM, morning tea, fellowship and "This is your Life".

War veterans meeting

EXTREMELY Disabled War Veterans Central & Nth Qld Assn first meeting for the year is on Wednesday, February 5 at 10am in the Lakes Room at the Hervey Bay RSL.

Computer classes

COMPUTER classes at Maryborough Computer Users Group start on Monday, February 3.

Eight-week courses on offer will be Basic Computing (Module 1 (beginners), Intermediate Computing (Module 2), Advanced Computing (Module 3), Picassa, Photocraft and internet/email usage and security at a cost of $45 each.

A six-week course in Basic Excel costs $35 and two four-week courses, Entertainment Part A - Music/iTunes and Entertainment Part B movies/ audio books/eBooks cost $25 each.

MS support group

The Hervey Bay and Maryborough Multiple Sclerosis Support and Social Group's February meeting will be on Thursday, February 6 at Blue Care, Exeter St, Torquay at 10am.

This will be the first meeting for the year and a time to rekindle friendships and welcome any new MS members who would benefit from sharing with like-minded people and learn that they are not on their own as they learn to live and cope with multiple sclerosis.

Newly diagnosed MS people or anyone interested are very welcome to attend the relaxed and fun-filled meetings. Inquiries to Bev 4128 2692.
