Shine a light on forest animals at spotlighting workshop

THE Fraser Coast Branch of Wildlife Queensland and the Community Environment Program will host a spotlighting workshop next month.

Kevin Wormington will conduct the event, describing the animals which might be seen.

The group will also see the yellow bellied glider chew marks and do some stag watching, and after a light meal go spotlighting in Bauple State Forest.

People should take a torch, binoculars, sound shoes, insect repellent and a folding chair.

Dr Wormington recommends an Arlec Headlite with batteries.

The workshop, on Saturday, May 2, starts at 3pm at the Bauple Recreation Shed.

The cost is $10 and numbers are limited.

To book, phone Sara on 4129 5789 by April 25 and let her know of any special dietary requirements.
