Slippery conditions caused by oil spill on Boat Harbour Dr
EXTREMELY slippery conditions were caused by an oil spill on Boat Harbour Drive after a container of oil fell off a vehicle.
About 20 litres of oil was scattered along Boat Harbour Drive near the roundabout at Eli Waters following the oil leak about 6.30pm on Sunday.
A fire crew was called soon after the leak was reported.
It is believed a container of oil fell from a vehicle causing the oil spill.
They spent about an hour cleaning up the oil from the road while police diverted traffic until the area was made safe.
