STAY INFORMED: Burrum Heads residents to be alert about fire

BURRUM heads residents are being advised to 'keep up to date'  and 'stay informed' about the monester Woodgate bushfire which has been burning since Wednesday.

Due to wind conditions, embers from this fire may reach the southern side of the Burrum River from Woodgate and Walkers Point Rd.

At 3.55pm the bushfire was burning within containment lines near Woodgate Rd and Woppis Rd, and travelling towards Walkers Point Rd, Woodgate.

Burrum Heads residents will be affected by smoke, which will reduce visibility and air quality.
