Teen in hospital after crash with kangaroo

A teenager was rushed to hospital on Monday night after the vehicle he was in collided with a kangaroo on the Coast.

A Queensland Ambulance Service representative said paramedics were called to Bells Creek Rd at Coochin Creek about 7.20pm.

The teenager was in a stable condition after suffering a head injury in the crash.

He was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
