IN CELEBRATION of Queensland Women's Week running from March 3 to 11 and their tenth anniversary, Women Inspiring the Community and Creating History (WICCH) will host an exhibition.
Throughout March they will showcase photographs and stories at Gatakers Artspace, Kent St, Maryborough..
A special celebration function will be held on Saturday, March 3 and the exhibition will run from March 1 until April 1, from 10am until 4pm daily.

PERFORMANCES AT 7.30PM AND 2PM
GODSPELL the musical will start at Z-PAC Theatre, 15 Zephyr St, Scarness.
A well-loved musical based on the Gospel according to Matthew, Godspell features a comedic troupe of eccentric players who team up with Jesus to teach his lessons in a new age through parables, games and tomfoolery.
The musical will run until March 25.

THREE free community-events are on to welcome the Queens Baton Relay to the region
The baton is carrying a message from the Queen around world as it makes it way from Buckingham Palace in London to the Gold Coast for the opening of the Commonwealth Games on April 4.
During its visit to the Fraser Coast it will be carried by locals as part of a relay as it visits Fraser Island, Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
The route includes the Hervey Bay Esplanade (from 1-3pm), finishing with a free-community event at the Seafront Oval and along Saltwater Creek Road finishing with a free community event in Queens Park (3-5pm).
The third event is being held at Eurong Beach Resort on Fraser Island.

RUNS FROM FRIDAY TO MONDAY
HELD at the Maryborough Showgrounds, the twelfth North Coast Campout hosted by Conrodders Hot Rod & Customs Hervey Bay Inc is on from March 30 to April 2.
Entries are open to all car enthusiasts.
The weekend usually comprises of a short cruise or Hot Rod Games on the Friday followed by a Meet and Greet and Official Opening by a local Dignitary.
Sunday is the Show and Shine at the Showgrounds and gates open to public at 9am.
